Awkward and Awesome

2:49 PM

It's everyone's favorite time of the week again! AWKWARD AND AWESOME THURSAY!

ok yes, I said Wednesday last week. I was busy last night. as we will see.
Awkward:
-forgetting about the "Adult" session of stake conference and watching Halloween movies instead.  I say "adult" because my stake is mostly 17-19 year olds who are legally adults, but still.
-getting all ready to go to a Halloween party, getting to the party and then finding only 12 people there.
-the game "What Are the Odds"
-the game "Copy/Paste"
-not being able to find a place to hang out after curfew for the guys' apartment and having to sit in the hallway of the basement of their building
-watching Elf the day after Halloween
-not sleeping in my bed for the last 5 nights.... couches and floors yo.
-all my clean laundry still being in the basket from a week ago.  See, Mom? I haven't changed that much ;)

Awesome:
-HALLOWEEN. Guys. Halloween at BYU is my new favorite thing.  The creativity displayed by some of these people is mind blowing.  Also, for those interested, I dressed up as Agent Peggy Carter from Captain America for actual Halloween, and then I did my makeup all pop-art/comic book style for the stake Halloween party on the 1st.  I just didn't want to have to wear heels and a skirt to a dance.
-spending time with new people.  I love my roommates to teeny tiny little bits.  I really do believe that I could not have had better  luck with them.  I also apologize for being MIA for the last week.  I'm alive guys, I promise.  But with my calling I realized that I don't know very many girls in my Relief Society, and so I have been branching out of the walls of our apartment.  I have gotten really close to two girls in particular, Nikki and Gina.  Their apartment runs a blog that I am 100% obsessed with....
-concert in Salt Lake City Tuesday night.  That was an insane, crazy experience.  As was the game that we played inside McDonald's after we got back to Provo.
I can honestly say that I will never forget any of that night.

That is all I can think of for now... but I did just get a notification from the Heritage Central building saying that I have a package to come pick up from the mail....I have no idea what it is.

xx bisous
